My husband and I purchased a Living Social certificate for $99.00 for a room. What the coupon did not say was that it was for a double room on the 2nd floor. They have a very popular loud bar with music and samba on Tuesday nights and we opted to upgrade to a King room on the 4th floor for an extra $69.00 to avoid the loud music. I never checked the website to find out how much the room normally cost on a Tuesday night and I found out it costs$139.00. We got ripped off and the room was dirty and our $75.00 bottle of vodka was a small bottle of Sky. The drawers consisted of a hanging shoe container and the glasses in the room still had lip marks on them. I had seen bad reviews on Yelp before we checked in and other guests had talked about bed bugs. I really checked for them and there were no bed bugs.
To check in, they require you to sign all these papers and take a copy of your drivers license. It was difficult to get the copy of my license back. When we checked out, they do not give you a statement. They said we would get an email copy. I never received a statement until I called and complained. They charge you $100.00 extra on your card for the mini bar which is still pending 3 days later.. ADVICE:: Stay away and be careful of coupons
