I read the terrible reviews of this place after I booked a room here. I had the opportunity to cancel and rebook at the Holiday Inn further down the street. Still, I figured most reviewers were just being overly critical. I was wrong. The previous reviewers below me were pretty dead on accurate. This place is a dump. I should have known when I went into the lobby to check in and there were a few flies loitering around the lobby space. Now onto the actual room. There are holes in the wall, the furniture is falling apart, the carpet is dingy and should be replaced, not cleaned. My room specifically had "spots" all over the walls which turned out to be dried snot and mucus (I sure hope it was mucus and not another bodily fluid). Regardless, I figured, for the price and the amount of time spent in the room (only to sleep), I might as well stick it out. Sleeping at night was terrible too, the train tracks are nearby and the walls/ceilings are paper thin. Needless to say, my headphones were in my ears all night. The next day after spending most of the day out of the room, I returned to flies flying around my room. Unbelievable. I will be writing a letter to Super 8/Wyndham resorts about this particular location. Don't pick this place because it is "cheap/affordable." No amount of frugality is worth the miserable time you would have to endure here.

I got a non smoking room but yet the place still smelt like smoke. I was afraid to walk on the carpet with out shoes and I had little bugs flying around. The real killer is when I got out of the shower and grabbed a towel off the towl rack there was a big thick black spider in between it! I thought it was a black widow I immediately threw the towl on the floor and ran out.

Area doesn't seem safe, room was dirty, holes in walls, door to room didn't close securely, cobwebs in corners, baseboard heaters falling off walls. Front desk staff was friendly and they did refund our money when we checked out ten minutes after we had checked in. Rooms and building was dirty and run down and not safe. I would not recommend staying here if you value your safety or cleanliness.

We stayed here for 2 nights.

Pretty quickly figured out that the bathroom door plywood covering was coming off (it was previously nailed in in some corners so it looks like they didn't quite lick the problem). The bathroom itself had pretty bad water damage but the worst of it wasn't discovered until the next morning when someone was taking a shower in the room above and the water was dripping in to our bathroom. =( By the second night, the shower curtain rod completely fell off because the parts of the walls it was attached to were weakened and warped by water.

The desk staff was great though. They checked us in quickly and knocked off forty bucks for all the damage we had to deal with.
