this place was not at all a good place to stay the internation part of the hostel was yeah clean enough and people n staff friendly the beds were real uncomfy but like most hostel beds lumpy n bumpy ....
the main hostel tbh was more like a drop outs centre ex crims n homeless ..friendle enough n ok for a night but really not a place for young single travelleres or girls i wouldnt recomend it for more than a night or just a quick n easy place to stay

Recently stayed here and was one day behind in paying for my room as I was in hospital. When I returned they advised me that they had thrown all of my belongings away because I had not paid the for night I was away. I am going to take them to court as by law they are obligated to hold all guests's belongings for a period of time. I think the staff may have simply robbed me as I had a lot of electronic equipment as well as clothing. Its a nasty place with nasty people working there.

This place is in a convenient location. Near the art museum, state capitol and 5 blks to the 16th st. mall. The staff was polite and helpful. I got a private room for about $40/night. It had a basic bed, TV and sink in the room. There is no A/C in the building.

The hostel has free WiFi, but can be intermittent. The common room/lounge has a microwave, fridge, flat screen tv and an internet computer. But, whenever I checked, there was hardly anyone in the room...which was a disappointment. I like to make friends with other travelers.

The hostel is a 2 blk. walk from Dazzle jazz club, and from ah few other nightclubs.

The place was under renovation during the stay. Bathrooms/showers were recently renovated (on 2nd floor), and were clean.

You may need to let the shower run for a few minutes before there is hot water, but it eventually heats up.

Be sure to ask for a no-smoking room.

When i got to the Hotel I was greeted by a man name Michael. He was very polite and helpfull about things to do in the area. I lost my computer at another hotel and Michael went to his car and got a flash drive so I could save all my ticket information and itinerary so i could print it up. He even gave me the flash drive to keep. I wanted to thank him again. The Hotel itself is pretty cool. Room was clean. If your into history of places you stay this is one place you should check out.
