I stayed at this hotel recently for a week with my boyfriend and three year old son. Check in was fine the girl at the front desk took my I.D. And credit card like any other hotel. Anyway we get to our room and the cabints were dirty with crumbs and old spices or somthing gross. So 3 days before check out I try to use the phone I can't dail out. The phone will just give me a beeping sound half way through the dail. So I call and complain the front desk says maybe the phone is brooken that they will make note of it. So the next day we leave and return around noon to find our door open. I tell my boyfriend " maybe you didn't close it all the way" because you had to pull it hard inorder for it to close all the way. That's when I noticed that the lauge cart we had borrowed the night nefor to bring in the rest of our stuff was gone. Really! Someone had come into our room without any permison. Then we see that our close were thron on the floor,our bags had things hanging out like someone had gone through them, and my personal papers had been read and sat down on kitchen counter infront of the sink. Mind you those personal papers were in a bag not left out. So furious I call front desk and tell them the situation. They tell me the matnice man had come into my room to retrive the lauge cart. So I asked did they call to even ask me if I had it there reply no. When I asked to speak to manger she was busy and would be in soon. So I waited 15 mintues still not in. So that's when the front desk tells me the cleaning lady had come in, the clean only on your 7th day of being there. There is a sign in the bathroom that tells you that. Oh yeah she didn't clean my room so what was she doing in there. So I am ready to call police but can't dail out so I go to front desk to use phone. Once agin I explain I can't dail out then the person tells me they never cut my phone on I didn't give them my credit card. You can't check into any hotel without a credit card that the girl asked me forwhen u checked in. So my phone gets turned on and I call police. They arrive about 10 minutes later I tell them the situation and they ask" have you talked to managment" I say " no". Then they ask " if we can get somone from managment to talk to you would you be willing to settle this disbute with them" I say " yes". Less than 5 minutes later there back with the manger the first thing she says is " I'm sorry I just got here 15 minutes ago" . Now I was down at the front desk 15 minutes before police got there. Any way she said there policy was to go into peoples rooms without calling to find the lauge carts but could not show me where that was written. I told her this was unacptable look at my room rumged through she said he told her he did nothing wrong. Of course he will say that so I have know idea who was going through my stuff. She was no help and during the talk could not offer a sultion to the problem got fustrated and walked out. So I contuied to talk to police nothing was missing so it was a civil case and they would do nothing but did give good advise. Later I called to speak to manger she was gone and would be back later. Called the site I used to book hotel and they call her and she would be back at 4:30 went downstairs and she is there really. Wow you should fell safe in your hotel and if you stay here don't borrow lauge cart late at night cause they'll wait until you leave and with out warning go room to room until they find it. And if it seems your stuff has been rumaged through manger won't care so stay away from this awful place
