We stayed in a 1BR/1BTH condo during Spring Break week. The check in was at The Plaza which was a short walk away. The shuttle from the Airport dropped us off to check in and then met us at Woodcreek with our bags.
The Woodcreek complex is small, with 5-stories and only about 6 or 7 rooms per floor. There was an outdoor hot tub and a gas grill. We didn't utilize either, but several people used the hot tub.
The unit was good. The appliances were new and the kitchen was pretty well equipped. We had a nice balcony overlooking the mountain with some chairs and cut wood for the fireplace. There was plenty of storage space and a nice entry area for storing skis and changing boots. There was one queen bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room.
The towels were changed daily and trash removed, but little else was done during our 6-night stay. There was supposed to be a mid-week cleaning, but we didn't notice any change in sheets or vacuuming.
The main problem, however was the poor sound insulation. Noise from upstairs was as if the people were in the same room with you.
The location was very good. We had a short walk to the West Wall or Peachtree lifts. The condo loop shuttle stopped right across the street. The shuttle service was OK; it came by every 30-minutes. To get into town, however, we had to take the condo-loop bus to the main transportation center at the base area and then catch a different bus into town. The bus into town makes several stops including along Elk Street where the main restaurants and shops are as well as near the grocery store. On the way back, however, we didn't know that we had to catch the correct condo loop shuttle. They were not well marked and the small paper signs were not lighted. We ended up on the wrong bus the first night before we learned.
Checkout was very easy and they allowed us to check out late as our shuttle to the airport wasn't due to pick us up until 11:30AM. We did not have to go back to The Plaza to check out, just left our keys in the room.
