We were driving across the state without reservations and checked out several hotels in Craig. We really wanted a 2 room suite so the kids coul dhave their own room. We passed up the Hampton next door because their 'suites' had only one large room. That was a mistake, thought because the Hampton was new and very clean. Not so much for the Holiday Inn. While there were two rooms, my wife and I had to sleep on a very uncomfortable sofa sleeper. The room smelled really bad and we had to go buy some candles to make it bearable. It did have a kitchenette, but by the morning, there were hundrends of ants crawling all over the place (and we didn't leave a mess the night before). We needed internet access, and although promised, it never really worked. The pool was ok, but a little cold for the kids and it is in the main reception area so everyone can watch you in your swim-suites. The TVs were 1980's models as were the furniture. It looks like they put a coat of pain on the exterior to look similar to the surrounding hotels, but the inside was dated. I would not recommend staying here. For all the problems, it actually cost more than the neighbors.
