Arrived at the hotel around 1:45 and was told that there wouldn't be any rooms available until 2:45 - 3:00 so we drove around and did some shopping coming back around 3:15. The clerk first offered us a handicapped room but we declined, mostly because of the bathroom set up. So, she checked us into a great room with a queen bed and a wonderful view of the mountains. The room was clean and having a full fridge, a MW and a stove are definite plusses!! I didn't notice any funky smells and there was never any noise from other rooms or the hallway. However, probably the best part is that we got this room for $33 per night on Priceline.

We stayed here 2 nights and it was decent. You really are getting what you pay for here. Check-in was pleasant. I asked for a room away from the road traffic, but the person behind the counter said they were all booked up on that side. Honestly hard for me to believe since I hardly saw anyone in the hallways or lobby the whole time. I did book through Priceline and that was clearly stated in my paperwork with the hotel.

The room was fine. Bathrooms weren't too bad either. We didn't have any shampoo, but that was remedied when we went downstairs to pick some up. The TV was an older Panasonic. The freeway noise wasn't noticeable since we had the fan on all night.

Overall it was a decent stay. We heeded the last review and didn't leave anything in our car. Although I didn't feel it was ever unsafe here.

Also you have to pay for internet. Our price was $4.99 for the whole stay. No free breakfast. No room service during your stay at all unless you pay for it. We didn't care that our beds didn't get made and we had to use old towels.

Crime is a problem around this hotel, but I only learn that after my car was broken into and valuable stolen. But the worse thing is, the hotel management does not care a bit of what happened on their property. When I reported the problem to them, they simply says that it is not their problem. They don't even report this kind of cases to police. A woman manager grew hostile when I asked her how frequent crimes happened on their property.

After reporting the case to the local policy, the officer told me that he knew of three parking lot theft reports in the past three months.

If you plan to stay with this hotel, better be alert and read the signs in parking lot. They really mean it!

As a former employee of Extended Stay Hotels, I am sad that I have to write such a poor review of this hotel.

The location was o.k., but somewhat of a drive to the attractions that we wanted to see.

Our room was dirty. There was grease spots on the refrigerator, cupboards and stove backsplash. The bathroom vent had 1/4 inch of dust on it. The bathroom door lock was broken. The tub had scum stains. The carpet was dirty-needed a good shampoo. Our telephone did not work, even when getting a new one from the front desk.

The hotel itself was o.k., although the front trash bin was overflowing for 2 days and the stairwells were dirty.

The staff at check in was pleasant enough, but the other staff had a ho hum attitude.

I would not stay at this ESA. Two nights earlier we stayed at the Des Moines location and our experience was much better.
