“Meh. Average hotel, slightly below average style and cleanliness.”

Stayed at the hotel with colelagues on business. The hotel seems new, but is dingy and kind of dirty. The rooms were unremarkable and once again dingy, spots of some kind on the cieling of the bathroom, and what appeared to be mold/mildew over the window. Carpet was dirty and there were stains of some kind on the desk chair. Nice beds, large tv. The hotel's "gym" has only one treadmill, one elliptical trainer, and one recumbant bike, packed together in a tiny room, difficult for more than one person to work out without getting in the way of others. Desk staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast unremarkable, and not refilled by staff, no plates, spoons, food, etc. Located near a few restraunts and a huge movie theatre within walking distance, but away from everything else in town, unless you have a car. Better spend your money elsewhere.

“NEVER AGAIN”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2011

The only good thing about this hotel was it's location. I stay in hotels almost every week for business, and this one is by far the worst.

Walls - paper thin. Could hear everything, including when everyone on my hallway was coming and going. The banging of doors was constant.

Breakfast - dirty. When I came down it was like a tornado hit!. Trash everywhere and the attendant wasn't there. She came later, but it was too late.

Room - dirty. There was a hair tie in plain site on the floor. If this was so obvious, I could only imagine what else I didnt see.

Temperature - uncontrollable. Heat was low - too hot. Cool was low - too cold. I woke up too hot, then changed the temperature, then wokr up too cold. Miserable.

Do yourself a favor. There are plenty of hotels in this area - do not go to this one.

“Clean Value Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2010

Hotel looked new, was clean and very acceptable, with a nice smallish indoor pool, and staff was helpful. There was a little noise from other rooms and the floor above, and I don't think it's because our neighbors were elephants, but it wasn't horrible. The breakfast wasn't quite as nice as I'd experienced at others in the chain, providing microwaveable breakfast sandwiches instead of buffet-style eggs and bacon - and only on request, since they appear to be hiding them somewhere, that would be my only real knock. There were other options, like bagels, muffins, cereal, freshly made self serve waffles, fruit, yogurt, fruit juices. All things considered, I'd stay here again.

“Colorado Vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 July 2010

This was the best hotel we stayed while touring Colorado. The lobby/breakfast area was small but cheerfully decorated. The front staff were v ery nice, breakfast was sufficient. The rooms were comfortable. Carrabas and Outback restaurants were within walking distance for meals. This is a convenient place to stay if your planning to see Canon City for the Royal Gorge Bridge which is an hour away and Pueblo to the south. The pool is adequate, limit is 16 people. We stayed in Room 131 which is near the stairwell and door to the upper floors. This is the only negative thing because it can get noisy when people come in but this we have no control over since they were booked. Next time we'll ask for a room in the middle.
