We spent the night in this hotel on 5-15-2012. Don't ever stay there. Our room faced the pool, and people were still in the pool at midnight. I called the front desk 3 times to complain, but the person on duty stated he could do nothing about it. Stated I had to give people time to settle down and go to their rooms.

There was no hot water in the sink, horrible stench coming from the sink, and a very rude swing staff person.

We were even overcharged for our room and I was told it would take 14 days to fix this. Unbelievable!!!!!

Do not stay at this property, they do nit care about their guests.

My family and I had a comfortable stay at La Quinta. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's in a great location to see the attractions Colorado Springs has to offer and it's near many restaurants and shopping centers. The lack of a mini-fridge and microwave was the only downside, however they do have the option to bring them in for an additional $10. I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Hotel was great. Service, check-in, check-out all met expectations.
Only problem was the breakfast. Prepackaged toaster waffles, prepackaged bagels, yogurt, cold cereal, and instant oatmeal was all that was offered (besides juice and coffee).
No self-serve fresh waffles, no bakery items (fresh bagels or pastries), no hard boiled eggs, no real oatmeal or other hot cereals. Ended up going out for breakfast.

Learned the difference between La Quinta and LaQuinta Rooms & Suites: basically no protein at breakfast. Nice, convenient spot. Helpful staff. Good price. It seemed like a safe place, and my valuables in the car stayed there!
