While visiting my son, who is stationed at the AFB in Colorado Springs, I stayed for a week at the Ramada Limited. I had made my reservation online, and when I arrived, the clerk could not find it. Fortunately I had my e-mail confirmation with me. The room I had requested was not available, but I was given a larger room at no extra cost. My room was clean and comfortable and included a small refrigerator and coffeemaker. The heated indoor pool was a hit with my granddaughter, who also enjoyed the "little pool" (jacuzzi). My room was cleaned early every day, but a few times I had to ask for supplies, which were quickly provided. Being unfamiliar with Colorado Springs, I don't know how convenient the location was; however, since I did not have a car, I did find it convenient that there were places I could pick up supplies as well as restaurants within walking distance. A good breakfast is provided each morning over several hours, including waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal and oatmeal, as well as a variety of "toastables" and pastries. Breakfast was a little confusing at first, as it is spread out into two rooms, but the friendly staff helped me find everything. The only concerns I might have are that it is located along a busy street, which can get noisy, and that they apparently accept pets, and there were two very large unleashed dogs on my hallway that I also heard barking upon occasion. I was not, however, particularly disturbed by the noise and would definitely stay here again.
