We reserved a room for 5 nights thru Expedia.com, and I gave credit card info. People at reception were indifferent; their area and adjoining breakfast room smelled strongly of smoke. After 1st night, my companion and I tried to check out. Our room was too small for our king bed, was not clean, had bad smell, had bedbugs, etc. Also had dubious characters closeby: young couple in car smoking weed, guy arriving by taxi greeted by woman in very short skirt, etc. Woman at desk wouldn't give me a written statement. Said only Expedia could do so . Expedia billed for 5 nights, even after I told their woman (in Phillipines) we stayed 1 night. We moved to Holiday Inn and had 4 great nights plus good free breakfasts. Expedia-woman said, after my 3rd call, I would receive refund for 2 nights at the seedy Days Inn and I would receive, by e-mail, a $100 travel voucher. After 16 days, still no travel voucher. I advise travellers to avoid Days Inn, Colorado Springs, and use Expedia with caution.
