“Terrific Home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

Our family of four stayed (plus our german shepard) at the Towneplace for ONE YEAR following the loss of our home to a fire. Towneplace truly was our home and we became friends with all the staff and several other long-term guests. Every need is met and these folks went our of their way to help us during these trying times. Stay here- the longer the better! Very pet friendly! Shauan and her crew are terrrific! Next time our house burns down we'll be sure to stay here again!

“Great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

I ended up here as a result of blind bidding on Priceline. I paid $59 per night , including taxes.

The property was quiet, clean and well maintained. I believe that all units have a kitchenette which can save substantial sums for those who choose to eat in. There is an Albertson's nearby.

“Nice, unpretentious place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2011

Quiet and well-situated, my fiance and grandson, enjoyed our stay here. The pool was uncrowded and breakfast was simple but wholesome. Colorado as a whole, is a wonderful place to visit and we wouldn't mind living there.

“Great place to stay/close to attractions”

My husband, grandson and I stayed here for 5 days. We had a 2 bedroom suite and felt like we had a little apartment. It was close to Garden of the Gods and other attractions we visited. There was an Albertsons Grocery very close where we stocked up on groceries. That saved us on eating out. They did have a nice little free breakfast with muffins, fruit, cereal and juices. We paid $149 a night, which I thought was a bargain for the suite we had. The only complaint we had was with the water pressure in the shower. It barely came out, but once you got it going, it was okay.

Room Tip: get a room on the second floor if possible, as you can hear kids running around above you....if ther...

“Not a good value”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

We paid about $200/night for a two room suite. The hotel was outdated and smelled aweful. Everytime someone flushed a toilet it echoed through our room, waking our one and three year old. We got a total of about 2 hours of sleep that night and had to switch hotels the next day. The couch and chair were both stained and the room in general was not clean. However, there was lots of space and the bathrooms were updated. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Dear JamiRols,
Thank you for submitting a review from your stay. I value all of the information provided by our guests; I find it to be a great way for us to find areas that need improvement as well as connect to our guests in order to find out what they value most in their hotel experience. This is the first time that I have heard that our toilets echo in the room; we will have to conduct a thorough test in our rooms to find those that may be affected this way. I thank you for bringing these items to my attention so I may address them with my staff. One of Marriott’s values is “impresses the guest” and we always strive to keep our guests happy. I do wish that I would have had the opportunity to speak with you in person prior to you checking out.
Best regards,
Shauna DeSousa
