We stayed here over December 9-December 11 to attend a family memorial service. It was a really tough time for my husband who had just lost his younger sister. This was my first time staying at a Drury Inn...usually we choose a little more upscale place, but due to budget constraints, we chose here instead and am I ever glad we did! From the time we checked in at the front desk, until the time we left, we encountered the friendliest staff. Honestly, nothing that you think is negative about this hotel will matter when you deal with the staff. They were all beyond just friendly...they actually seemed to care about us. When two of the employees learned that we were in town for the funeral service, they actually gave my husband a condolence card. We specifically dealt with Bryan (Assistant GM), Amy (GM) Melissa (who has the most infectious laugh and it was impossible to be in a bad mood around her) and Jessica. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it. We will be staying here again, for sure! Oh, and yes...it's very accessible to the highway and close to a section of restaurants and a Wal-Mart. Also, just drive down Academy and you'll run into just about anything you would ever need....Starbucks, for us, was a lifesaver. ;)
