“Great Residence Inn!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

Stayed here for a few nights while on vacation through Colorado. I cashed in some Marriott free nights and this was the best option that was available. Worked out great for us since we were in town to see a football game at the Air Force Academy. This location is a bit north of downtown Colorado Springs, but not a horrible drive (great for us since we are used to the horrible commutes in Chicago). It appears the Residence Inn is in a newer business park development so there is not much in terms of dining, etc. There is a Cheddar's and a brewery (although it was closed for a private fundtion the night we tried to go). The hotel is in good shape and clean/newer rooms. We would stay again if coming back for a game at AFA. Otherwise we would try to stay downtown.

“Wish we could have stayed longer!”

We booked this room on Priceline for one night and what a treat! The whole experience was perfect, starting with the fast, friendly check in. We had spent a long day traveling and was delighted when we were invited to enjoy a complimentary dinner. It was a simple soup and salad bar, but just what we needed. They also included complimentary wine and beer, soda, juice, and a coffee bar. Again the staff was wonderful and made sure we had what we needed. Thanks, Shelly.

The room was spotless and spacious and had a very nice kitchenette. Everything was included, even a small dishwasher. It was very well arranged with the bed around the corner from the kitchenette. Even though we really didn't use the kitchen, I could see that they had it well stocked. Loved the comfy king bed which had plenty of pillows!

In the morning we enjoyed a nice complimentary breakfast buffet that went a step further than most such as strawberry compote and whipping cream for the waffles! I enjoyed some fresh scrambled eggs, ham, and little potato pancakes. They also had a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit that looked good. The area was very clean as well as being nicely arranged with a large family or business table and other areas seated away from the food.

We will book this hotel again when we are traveling through this area!

“Fabulous hotel-- Would definitely stay again”

This hotel appears to be recently renovated. The king bedroom suite was immaculate, quiet, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Our room had a wonderful view of Pikes Peak. It is conveniently located off the highway and close to area attractions. There was a nice breakfast selection and adequate seating. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

“Quiet, Clean, and Awesome Free Breakfast”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Without asking, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite since we checked in late and it was available (they asked us if we would want it). The hotel is clean and new and modern and is very close to the Air Force Academy on beautiful grounds - NOT a strip mall area AT ALL! Very gorgeous area. Nice grounds for a walk.
