Hotel looked condemned when we first drove up. That was my first clue this probably wasn't the best place to stay. Then, as we were walking up to the lobby, a couple of cops drove up, clue number 2. This hotel looks like it is falling apart, the hallways are narrow and there is peeling paint falling on the floors. The one okay thing about it are the rooms, they are spacious and clean enough. We were given a room at the top floor next to the stairwell, and the entrance at the bottom is unlocked, which doesn't exactly make me feel safe. This was our first trip to Colorado Springs, and I have never stayed in a Super 8 this bad before. I definitely give it a poor rating in terms of value because for the amount we paid I would have expected something a little nicer.

The room was large and spacious. Ask for a top floor room facing the mountains. We did and had a wonderful view of the mountains all day long. We really appreciated the room after some of the smaller rooms we had later on our trip. We only paid $44 a night (off-seaon). We thought this was a great find.

we looked at the price online first and thought it was reasonable. after living there for about three days, we realized that the rooms are underpriced and offer a great value. the front desk is very kind, and answered any questions we had. the breakfast offered in the morning was top-class quality. the swimming pool wasnt too bad either. the location was the best though because of the events were very close. and the view of the mountains is perfect from the location of the rooms. i recommend this motel for anyone visiting colorado springs for leisure or vacation or any fun event in town.

When I booked my room on hotels.com, this hotel was rated highest in the area. I was mis-lead by the rating and description of the hotel.

When I checked into the hotel, I was given my room key. I entered my room and found that the heater was broken and the room was a freazer, in February. When I went back to the hotel desk to inform them of this, the person behind the counter grabbed the key and said no one was to be put in that room. She then proceeded to search for another room and said that I would be put into a room with a Queen size bed even though I had requested a King. As I insisted on what I had booked originally, she placed me into a new room. When I went into the new room, it was entirely too hot (sauna). I placed my bags on the bed and turned down the heat to low and went out. When I arrived back to my room, I found that the temperature control was broke yet again. I also noticed that there was a hole the size of a childs head in the bathroom between the toilet and bath tub.

My overall experience and satisfaction with this hotel on a scale of 1-10 is -10, yes that is NEGATIVE 10. I would never return to this hotel or recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are horrible and the customer service is even worse.

To top it off, the hotel charged me for 1 night even though I never even stayed there. I am still fighting with the hotel about the charges.
