Nice new building. Nice interior hallways. Small nice indoor pool. Room was clean, fresh, and appealing. Overall, a great budget hotel choice. The neighborhood is industrial/commercial. My only minor concern was that there is an adult[-----] store in an adjoining property. However I neither saw (nor heard) any signs of (how do I phrase) "related" business at the motel. I would stay there again.

6/20-The main thing we look for in a hotel (because we have children) is a nice pool. We came here and found a cold pool with way too much chlorine. There were only 2 chairs in the pool area, and when we asked for chairs, the manager said, "Someone must have took them to their room." This didn't help us. We took shifts watching the kids because the water was too cold for either of us to go in. I started sneezing, etc., -- so did my daughter. We think it was the chlorine. When you left the pool area, you were fine, but if you spent a few minutes in there..... THE CHLORINE WAS BAD!!
A friend and I, who are both college age, stayed here for four nights in January 2004. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful! If you can get a view on one side of the hotel, you have a wonderful view of Pike's Peak. Since I have a friend who recently moved to this area, and I plan on visiting often, I will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended for the price!
