“Just as great as always!”

I was back this summer in august and will go back again in September! The best in convenience, service, cleanliness, price. The pool and hot tub are wonderful and the location being equidistant from manitou springs and old Colorado city can't be beat! A great place to relax and truly have a vacation! Thanks to Gary and Liz, the owners for making you feel so welcome!

“Clean and Great Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2011

The outside is cute and the inside is clean. Its a fine place to spend the night. But the very best part is that you can leave your hotel room and walk to Garden of the Gods! Its a pretty steep hill, but absolutely gorgeous views of Pikes Peak and all that surrounds it. It is also close to other area attractions like Seven Falls, Cheyenne M Zoo, Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. I'm sure we'll stay overnight here again when visiting Colorado Springs.

“...pets at the Mecca...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2011

On the website for the Mecca Motel, under Motel Info, it states "Sorry, no pets allowed." What they mean by no pets allowed is no pets on the premises - at all.
We left the Mecca Motel and went down the road to the Rainbow Lodge where the rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and small pets are allowed.

“Clean & Comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

Hotel is between Old Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. Garden of the Gods is right behind the hotel. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Even though the television was not a flat screen the hotel is very well maintained. Very reasonable rates. We would stay again.

“Great place to stay”

My husband and I are budget travellers, we just need the basics, a clean room and a bed. We found this motel last minute thru Tripadvisor. Room was super clean! :) :) :) Front desk very helpful, no hairdryer in room, but just ask at the front desk and they have them available. Would stay again if we are back in the area.
