“Over Priced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

I think it was a little high, but over all we had a fair experience. I was worried about noise as there were tons of dogs. I thought I was staying at a Kennel. They were all on the first floor and we were on the second. No elevators so keep that in mind. I would stay again if I HAD to.

“Best stop for a tired driver”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2011

After 550 miles today, I chanced upon Comfot Inn in Burlington,CO. The staff (Daniel) was more than accommodating as a senior citizen "wanted a ground floor room" and that was accomplished, even though I had no reservations and it was getting dark. A short walk across the parking lot, revealed the "Route Steakhouse." Our waitress (Margarita) was a hoot to deal with as we were tired travelers from Moab, Utah on this day. I would recommend this stop for any travelor across America's heartland. It's obvious that these people care about tourists that stop on their vacation trips.

“Good Place To Stay in Burlington”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2011

Burlington is just a stop along the way to or from Colorado but this is a nice place to stay if you need a place for a night. Easy to find, staff was nice, pool looked good (we didn't use), room was clean, it was quiet. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.

“The only place to stay in Burlington CO”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 June 2011

My sister and I stayed here one night for a family event. I grew up in Burlington and it's the only place I would pay money to stay in. Very nice, comfortable beds and plenty of room for us. Didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice and clean. It was a comfortable place to stay for one night. The breakfast was nice and plentiful...but that is where I have my one complaint. The person who was working the breakfast area seriously violated a health code. The waffles kept sticking in the waffle makers and she kept having to pry the remnants out of them...and in doing so kept blowing into the waffle irons, no doubt spewing spit and germs into them!!! We were horrified as we watched, and suggested some Pam cooking spray to keep them from sticking...the suggestion was curtly brushed aside. We tried...but this was pretty gross to watch considering the both of us were eating waffles at the time! Other than that little incident, no complaints...except maybe the rooms are a bit high priced for the location. The desk clerk was even nice enough to split our bill down the middle on two cards for us.

“Quiet but rooms very small”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2010

We spent a recent night here. The place was OK, but the room was small and underfurnished. There were only two straighback chairs and a small table, in addition to the beds, bedside table and TV cabinet. Despite the small size of the room, there was a space available that could have been used for a small sofa, or something else more comfortable for sitting. One good thing was the quiet atmosphere. We heard very little noise from the hallway or adjacent rooms. In-room literature touts a free paper, but there was no paper in sight in the room or the lobby. The price was high for the amenities, but this town is in the middle of nowhere and is a stopping point for people travelling I-70. Considering the small number of choices, this one is probably the best available.
