Paper thin walls, decent internet, good bar drink prices, no restaurant. Would stay here again just not on new years.

We stayed in unit E-206 for the week between Christmas and New Years. The unit has a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. The queen was very comfortable, but the sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable. It was nice to be able to prepare food if we wanted, or walk just a short distance if we wanted to eat out. There were all kinds of restaurants just a short walk away on Main Street. A really good Japanese/Chinese Restaurant with a sushi bar right next door. A ski rental shop is right on property with a discount for people staying there. The free shuttle to the ski lifts stopped just outside the front door. The parking garage kept our car warm, dry, and safe. The water in the unit does take a long time to get warm, but it will eventually get there.

What a great location! In the morning we took the elevator to the lobby, requested our skis from the front desk, walked out the front door and boarded a bus to the gondola. After a 3 minute ride down the road we jumped on the gondola and started our day on the slopes. At the end of the day we skiied the Four-O-Clock run all the way to the end, took off our skis, walked across the road to our lodge, checked in our skis in the lobby and headed to our room. Main Street Breckenridge is one block away and lots of great restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Our rental truck stayed in the parking garage all week!

The only amenities we used onsite were the hot tub off the second floor that easily held our family of 4 with room to spare and the ski shop in the basement. Very convenient!

We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at River Mountain Lodge as part of a timeshare presentation package for the Grand Lodge at Peak 7. We parked our car in the underground parking, then didn't need it again. We walked less than a block to Main Street for dinner and about 2 blocks to the Gondola for skiing. We booked a 1 bedroom condo which was 2-levels in the East wing on the top floors. We had no issues with noise. While the condo itself was a bit dated, it had everything we wanted - kitchen and dining area, cozy living room with fireplace, large comfy bed. We regret not making it down to the hot tub, though it looked great. We did not have a view from our condo - but after the fantastic views while boarding on the mountain - we didn't feel like we were missing out. The staff was friendly and helpful - while the elevator was temporarily out of service, a staff member carried all of our bags and gear up the stairs to our room. We would definitely stay here again.
