“Great location and price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012 via mobile

Terrific four-star experience. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but if you're looking for location and value, this is a perfect fit. Ski in/ski out, we stayed in Building 4. We were there to ski, hit the hot tub, eat, sleep, and repeat. We did not use the other facilities in the main building, but there was a lot of stuff available. Handy to town. Rarely did we walk out the front door and not see a shuttle picking someone up. They ran constantly. (We used our rental car.)
Blue River Sports is where we rented our gear and they were outstanding. Mi Casa is in the same building and is good. Eric's is a great place to eat and is very reasonable. Crepes Ala Cart is a must.
If we return to Breckenridge, we will definitely stay at Beaver Run.

“Excellent location for skiing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Stayed here for 1 week in January 2012. The resort is huge and much more than just a hotel. It is a perfect location for skiing with ski in/out facilities. The town is about a 10-15 min walk downhill which although is not a great distance, because of the altitude, you will get tired quite quickly so may not be the best for those with limited physical ability. The hotel rooms are in a seperate block however there is an internal route to the swimming room and sauna/steam room - this route is not well advertised so we were going outside in really cold weather in our swimming gear! The rooms are satisfactory and are ok for 2 people in a room however any more people than that and it would be a squeeze. Overall a good hotel and I would recommend to anyone going skiing in Breckenridge.
There are some lovely restaurants in the town and would particularly recommend Mi Casa's Mexican, Salt Creek and Kenosha for dinner and the Columbine Cafe for breakfast.

“Buyer Beware”

Units are individually owned; you may get a rundown room. Queen beds jiggle noticeably if person moves when sleeping; easy to wake the other sleeper. Daily fee of approx. $10 for in-room wireless access PER DEVICE expires each night (<24hrs). $10 per day fee parking. 17.26% tax. Resort generally run-down, smells musty.

Room Tip: Not all rooms that are priced the same are the same. The units are individually owned. If the fron...

Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is truly a unique place to stay. Each of the Units on the property is individually owned and no two Units are exactly alike. The Units are inspected and scored once a year to make sure they maintain an acceptable quality rating. Should a guest find that the Unit they are in is not up to their expectations, they are always welcome to ask for other accommodations at the Resort.
Recently we expanded our Free WiFi access to all Common areas of the Resort to provide easy access for our guests. Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center does charge a covered, heated, parking fee, taxes, and Resort fee, all of which are the Industry standard. Where we stand out from the rest is our commitment to make sure each guest feels especially well taken care of and has a positive memorable stay.

“Great accomodations and location - great value for the price!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

Wonderful true ski-in/ski-out resort where you can ski right up to the door of the building, click out of your skies and walk in the storage locker area, then into the building and elevator up to the room! Great hot tubs and pool areas. GREAT location. Really will spoil you! Nice market/deli onsight, good food! Easy access to all buildings in complex with good signage!

truly ski in/out. not newest place , but recently recovered class, now cleaner & better managed.
super for kids, 2 outdoor pools, mini golf, grocery with some hot food/ pizza , chile on site.
Recommend strongly colorado suite with studio bedroom & sleepcouch for 2-4 people, wood
burn fireplace unlimited wood. Highly recommend building 4. Convenient ski lockers on way
to slope & 20 feet from slope, 100 feet above main peak 9 lift to top.

Room Tip: if building 4, get room facing mountain or slopes, NOT parking lot. higher the better
