We just got back from staying one week at the Corral in Breckenridge. It is a wonderfully, warm and friendly place. We had a two bedroom, two bath and it was fabulous. Both Larry and Iris can not do enough for you. It is within walking distance to the town and on several shuttle routes. It was never a problem getting around. While I understand some people like the ski in/out places, for me the Corral was great. They even give you a garage (heated) to leave your ski equipment in each night. Perfect!

From perfect location, great accomodations to wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly management (Iris and Larry), I strongly recommend staying at the Corral in Breckenridge. It's walking distance to skiing, shopping, yoga, restaurants, shuttles etc. Also across the street from Alpine Ski Rental where you get a a 20% discount if you're at the Corral. We had the three bedroom loft hot tub on patio for 7 of us and it was perfect, not too crowded at all. Also three bathrooms, washer/dryer, full kitchen, etc. If part of your group cross country skis, you can catch the bus to the Nordic Center. The skating rink is a short trip as well. There is so much to do and so many option for nearby restaurants. I wont bother to stay anywhere else when I return. A little thing but also a very convenient DVD movie rental kiosk, no charge.

We've now stayed three different times at the Corral in 2011 for a total of 16 nights. And each time it has been an absolute pleasure. Great location, great accommodations and amenities and great staff make this a home away from home.

It is just a few mins walk to the base of Peak 9 and to the town center and Blue River Sports for ski rentals. The condos are very spacious and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen that can be boon for longer stays. Many also come with covered parking and storage closets for skis. Some have private hot tubs in the balcony and there are other community hot tubs that are well-maintained.

Above all, the staff of Iris, Larry and Carlos have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. They have been very friendly and always helpful for all of our needs. That upgrades this place from very good to a gem. You owe it to yourself to give this place a try!

I've now had the opportunity to spend a total of 6 nights over two different stays at the Corral At Breckenridge. As soon as I knew I had plans to return to the Breckenridge area, I booked my stay at the Corral. Everything about my stay was top notch, from the accommodations and service to the really professional and friendly staff. I agree with the previous post - you cannot find a better home away from home than a the Corral At Breckenridge!
