We have stayed in 3 other properties in this area and this has been by far the best. The renovations are what really put this unit over the top. This is an older area, and it was nice to have the granite countertops, heated tile floor, largish/new-feeling bathroom, and the bedroom is bigger than what you can tell from the pictures. There is also a cloakroom-type entryway where you can keep your boots/jackets/other gear. The owners are very accessible and the process of reserving the unit and checking in was a breeze. There are notecards near all of the thermostats and by the computer detailing what to do. Obviously a great location - very short walk to the Quicksilver (down a hill and over a stream). The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom linens were plush, and there were ample kitchen supplies for cooking.
Overall, we had a great stay and will try to book this one again. Unfortunately, it is already booked for the upcoming spring break (it was very roomy with just me and my husband, but it also would have worked with our 2 teenage boys on the sleeper sofa).

I have stayed at unit 24 more than once, last time was in July 2010 (january 2010 as well).
The unit is amazingly put together, I really like the heated floors in the kitchen and the free WIFI. I think it is one of the best locations to stay if you are going to ski... it is less than a block away from the lift line, that's right! Not from the resort... from the lift line!
We traveled with our daughter and we slept very well, the unit has plenty of room and also can give you privacy in the bedroom.
Definitely recommend this...
within a short walk from downtown, main strip in Breck, this unit is perfect, no car needed..

Our family had the pleasure to stay in Snodallion unit 24 for 3 nights. We could not have been any happier with our choice of accommodations. The condo is perfectly situated close to town, but in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk to dinner every evening and never felt unsafe. The pool and hot tubs are also a short walk away.

The unit itself is wonderful and contains every item a person could want or need in a vacation rental. The bed was comfortable and had wonderful linens. The kitchen with granite countertops had everything a cook could desire, with high-end pots and pans. Heated tile floors, gas fireplace, wine rack, plenty of utensils, free internet, and the list goes on of the items included. And, the unit was spotless clean!!

Dealing with the owners was very simple and communication was excellent. They provided a wealth of information prior to our arrival and were available should the need arise.

Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. It was fabulous and we will definitely stay here again when returning to Breck.

My friend and I stayed at Snodallion, unit 24, for a 4 day girls getaway. It absolutely exceeded every expectation I had. The unit is extremely clean and organized. Everywhere inch of the condo/studio you can sense the owner's pride and love of their little mountain get away. The unit has been recently renovated with updates including heated tile floors, granite counters, gas fireplace, and flat screen TV. Bed linens are very good quality, including down comforters. I slept on the Queen size bed in the bedroom area and my friend slept on the sleeper sofa...both were comfortable although the bed is defintely more comfy than the sleeper, but no news flash there. During our 4 day trip we only had to get in the car 2 times, once to go to the grocery store and the other time because we wanted to check out Copper Mountain which is a 30 minute drive...other than that, EVERYTHING is within walking distance. Parking is provided either outside in the parking lot of inside of the heated garage.

The only reason I gave 'Service' a 3 is because you are not staying at a hotel or lodge with concierge or front desk reception. But, the information provided by the owner with check in materials and on their website is more than enough to get you around town.... there just isn't going to be anyone making reservations for you. Also, I want to note that I gave 'Sleep Quality' a 5 but we were staying there the last weekend of the ski season and the crowds were light...during peak times it may be a little noiser....we did hear a few people on the weekend nights coming home from the bars but nothing that kept us up.
