Just returned East after a four night stay from 1/12-1/16. PR condominiums' complex can't have a better location. You are a short walk from the center of town with its great restaurants and ski town atmosphere. In addition, you are on the Four O'Clock run so you can ski in after a day on the slopes. You can't ski out, but you are a short walk to the Snowflake lift. The free bus also stops right in front of the complex, so you can get around Breck easily without taking your car.
The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The condo was very clean and well appointed. The condos are clearly well-maintained and contain everything that you would want to have for this kind of visit. Cleaning staff stopped by at the midpoint of our trip to clean out the trash and add more towels.
The building that we were in is probably indicative of all of the buildings in the complex, so be advised that the stairwells can be noisy with ski boots on the steps and slamming doors. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear neighbors who don't realize that they are a little loud. The complex has a quiet time policy after 10 PM and some guests need to be reminded that they are not alone. The management is responsive to its overnight hotline set up for this purpose. There is also noise from outside as some guests in the area think it is OK to snowboard at one in the morining on the Four O'Clock run. This essentially comes with the territory and is not the management's fault. You are staying in a highly popular ski resort and not a monastery. Adjust accordingly.....
I also thought that the price for the accommodations was reasonable in comparison with other complexes that I looked at. That can be very important in such an expensive area. Combine your accommodations with the lift tickets through Breck reservations and you will benefit financially. Buy multi-day tickets because the price of a one day lift ticket is quite high.
Overall, this is a very nice setup, with nice staff, in a wonderful vacation area. Keep your expectations real and you will not be disappointed.
Room Tip: The heat in the building is quite good and it rises. The upper floors seem to be warmer than below.
