All things considered, this property is your basic Holiday Inn Express experience with one notable exception. For a business person, on the go, this hotel is just what you expect. Clean, not busy, modest pool, exercise room, classic Holiday Inn Express breakfast (I can't NOT eat those sticky buns!). Parking is easy, and free. The hotel as others have stated is not in the center of Boulder, so you've got a maybe 5 minute drive and park to downtown Boulder. Across the street there is some more mixed residential and commercial development occuring and maybe some day some nice dining and shopping options will result. The one notable thing is the extensive trails very nearby for running, hiking, etc. Just out the back door of the hotel, within a 30 second drive, or 2 minute run, you can get a great workout in on various trails in the foothills. So bring your running shoes for sure. Great sunrises during the morning.
