Nice motel with ammenities that many large hotels do not provide, like in room refrigerator and complimentary, hot and cold breakfast. The room was good sized with clean, comfortable beds, and very clean bathroom BUT the carpet was filthy with ground-in dirt from wear and tear that was in dire need of replacement or at least a professional steam cleaning. Plenty of towels and the lighting was exceptional in the bedroom and the bathroom; free internet use in the small lobby (one computer and printer); very friendly front desk personnel.

Location of motel is in the center of everything; many shops, malls and restaurants close by. We rented a car and drove to Estes Park - BEAUTIFUL area; Boulder is a great city and is easy to drive in. Would stay at this motel again if the carpets were cleaner.

We were in Boulder for family weekend at the college. Hotel is located about 10 long blocks from campus. We mostly drove over, but after the football game, with lots of streets blocked off, we ended up walking back in maybe 20 minutes. Also close to lots of shopping and restaurants.

Rooms were decent sizes with coffee maker, ironing boards and refrigerator. Desk with lamp with outlets in it and a good size table were in the room. Bathrooms were fairly small, but functional. In the spirit of "going green" while they provided some bar soaps, most soap, shampoo, etc were in a push dispenser to avoid lots of bottles in the landfill.

Breakfast was a typical Best Western breakfast.....make your own waffles, assortment of breads and bagels, eggs, sausage and bacon. Plenty of yogurt, coffee, and cereals, hot and cold, in packages.

Wifi in rooms 268 and 270 were fine, although my iPod touch didn't seem as responsive to the signal as a plain old Win 7 laptop. They both worked and the signal strength seemed more than adequate.

Parking can be a hassle if the place is packed like it was our weekend, but there appears to be more parking around the corner. There is also a Buff restaurant on premises that seemed very busy in the morning, but we didn't try it.

Front desk had free local newspapers, even on Sunday, plus coffee and tea available 24 hours. They also had toiletries if you forgot some, including cans of shave cream rather than packets.

All in all, it was a nice stay, very convenient to where we needed to be.

This hotel was just what we wanted on our recent trip to Boulder. It was easy to get to and within striking distance of the centre of the city and right beside the new Village Mall. The room was very spacious and very comfortable, the welcome was friendly and the internet access was great and very fast. Everything that we needed was at hand. The complementary breakfast was very welcome and if you wished to go to the Buffs Restaurant this was right on hand. We enjoyed our visit and have earmarked thisa hotel for the future.

The Golden Buff Lodge provided us with a well equipped, comfortable room. It met or exceeded our expectations. Parking was directly in front of our ground floor motel room. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

As is the case with many motel rooms, the interior lighting is dim. There was an iron and ironing board, but no hair dryer in our room. The exercise room is small, but it does have an adjacent sauna and jacuzzi.

The buffet breakfast was nice because it featured 3 types of fresh fruit in addition to several hot items.
