“Excellent Stay at Hyatt Mountain Lodge in Beaver Creek”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2011

This was our 3rd straight summer with a week at the Hyatt Mountain Lodge and we again are tremendously impressed by this Hyatt. The hotel is relatively small which promotes a very friendly atmosphere and focused attention from the hotel staff. We are two adults and four teenagers and we stay in a beautiful 3-bedroom condo. The bedrooms are quite large, and the living room is great for a late-night relaxing TV show (as much as Shark Week on Animal Planet can be relaxing, but then it’s OK as we’re in Colorado and not Florida). The pool and hot tubs are quite nice; the pool is a big rectangle, with a fun poolside hoop on one edge. There are 3 hot tubs. Neither the pool or hot tubs are ever too crowded.

Beaver Creek during the summer is tremendous. We did hiking, biking, rafting, horseback riding, ice skating and tennis. The air is crisp and the scenery is beautiful. BC village has a decent flow of people, but it’s still relatively quiet – there is no wait for any restaurant.

In our view there is no better place to go in the summer time.

“Montain Excellence.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

Having stayed at Beaver Creek several times, we carefully specified the western Mountain views as well as a view toward the eastern mountains. Decks with views rate at the top of our requirements. The deck provided the music of Gore Creek, and the breeze blowing through the Aspens. We traded into Beaver Creek through II.

This ski-in/ski-out location is adjacent to Market Square's Center for the Arts and within walking distance of the year-round outdoor skating rink, charming restaurants, and boutiques. All accommodations are now equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops in the kitchen. A skyway provides ski-out access to the Elkhorn Lift and all the slopes of Beaver Creek Mountain. Two living room doors provide access to two private decks. A summer holiday requires open doors and frequent appreciation of the high timberland environment.

“Hyatt Elegance in the Rocky Mountains”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2010

The Hyatt Mountain Lodge Resort was a relaxing, beautifully appointed hotel in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Located in the Beaver Creek Resort area, the Lodge provided excellent service, nicely furnished rooms, great amenities and at a great location, close to the mountain and local communities including Vail.

With a spa, outdoor heated pool, five hot tubs, two outdoor fire pits and related seating areas the hotel provided great opportunities to relax.

The meeting areas and exhibit spaces were very well appointed and the food service provided excellent choices for all meals.

Beautiful scenery surrounding nearby golf facilities.

Great place to work, play and stay!

“Convenient , clean, modern hotel suite with kitchenette”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2010

Initially we had planned to take day trips using Beaver Creek as a base. This hotel is so conveniently located that we never took the car out of the garage -- walked to trail heads, was picked up in a van for white water rafting and walked everywhere else. The kids loved the pool. Guests at the Mountain Lodge can also use the facilities at the fancier Park Hyatt which is in the same area of the village. We enjoyed the Mountain Lodge because we were able to make our own breakfasts and some meals-to-go for hikes (vs. the park Hyatt). Our suite was extremely clean, the bedding was great, duvets and really nice pillows and we were given an ample supply of clean towels. The decor is attractive, kitchen was great -- granite counters, stainless appliances, very, very clean. There is no air conditioning, there is no need. Temperatures in August were in the upper 50s at night. Slept with the windows open and the ceiling fan on. Extremely comfortable. Absolutely no bugs either. Hotel staff were great, very helpful, some good suggestions about what to do in teh area. One of the desk staff shares a birthday with my older daughter and he shared his red velvet cupcakes with both of my daughters. Extremely nice.

“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2010

My husband booked a room here to stay after he participated in a grueling 120 mile bike ride. We shared a 2-bedroom condo with another couple. The accommodations were absolutely perfect! While the unit was on the small side, it was very well appointed and cozy. Two bedrooms/baths on either side of a living/kitchen area with a balcony overlooking the garden, pool and mountainside. I've stayed at the adjacent St. James Place on numerous occasions and nearby Pines Resort as well, but the Hyatt Mtn. Lodge was by far the nicest! Great pool area with three hot tub pools: children, family and adults only. The "media" room was a nice touch with plush reclining leather chairs and large flat-screen TV & DVD player. Free coffee, tea, water, snacks and fruit in the lobby too. Our only regret was we stayed just one night. We'd like to return in the fall for an extended weekend of relaxation & outdoor activities.
