“Excellent condo - convenient and luxury”

We stayed at Highlands Slopeside for a ski holiday. We are a family of three (daughter 13 years) and found the apartment to be perfect. It was a 3bd apartment but staff closed up the bedrooms that was not required. Bathrooms, kitchen, living rooms with lovely fireplace made and great snow made the week's long stay there a wonderful experience. The ski in - ski out was fantastic, we could literally ski right into the dining room, not that we did! Although the apartment is up a hill and a bit of hike to walk home after dinner in the cold the services at Beaver Creek were fantastic. Free shuttle buses (Dial-a-ride) comes and picks you up at the door and drops you home. We cooked for two nights and brought our groceries for dinner and breakfasts at Avon - free shuttle there as well from Beaver Creek. We organised our ski hire from home before we left from Butler's website and they delivered our skis and poles at the arranged time. Great service! The altitude knocked us around for 1-2 days. Drink lots of water and the occasional hot chocolate to give yourself the sugar kick. Overall we had a fantastic time staying at Highlands Slopeside Beaver Creek. We stayed in number 200. Excellent apartment.

“Great Fun!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2007

We stayed 9 days over the Octoberfest. It was great fun! We were a group with 7 golfers and we played alot of golf in the area.
The appartments are very cosy and well decorated, with all you need, Wood for a fire , everything in the kitchen , d.v.d player etc....
I was fasinated with all the wildlife. We saw Elks , deer and a couple of bears.
We had several meals at the Chop house which were fantastic, the best steak i have had in a long time.
I can definatly recommend these apparments, they are conviniant (5 min walk up the road) , clean , nice pool & jacuzzi.

  • Liked — Atmosphere was great! Very cosy!
  • Disliked — A little muffy when we first arrived.

“beautifully decorated, convenient”

We stayed a week during ski season in a 3-bedroom/3 bath unit at Highlands Slopeside and loved it. It was elegantly decorated with comfortable furniture and beautiful gourmet kitchen. The hot-tubs were consistently clean and properly heated. We enjoyed the convenient ski room and ski-in/out location. The village is downhill from the units, so worth noting is that a steep uphill climb home is required after nightly visits into the village. Not recommended is dinner at Beano's cabin.
