Other people have raved about the breakfast buffet but the breakfast is pretty awful. It is the same each day - a chafing dish of overcooked eggs, overcooked bacon and sausages, and greasy potatoes. You have your choice of two gummy pastries and can wash it down with bad coffee. You can get cereal and thin slices of unripe melon. Where were the waffles that other people had mentioned? The bed needed a new mattress. When you hear the springs pop, it is a sign it needs to be replaced. Housekeeping is so-so but the room appeared clean. Yuba City is hot and you need a.c. It is not central but individual units that are very noisy. This place is serviceable and cheap but you get what you pay for.

The room was spacious and quiet. The king bed was comfortable. There were two sinks with large counter tops. The room had two fold-out stands for suitcases. The large, flat screen TV, wifi and desk/table were a plus. The complimentary breakfast included scrambled eggs and a waffle maker. The restaurant menu had a large selection of items and the food was delicious. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. As mentioned in other reviews, the room rate makes the Bonanza Inn a great value.

Stayed on Bonanza Inn earlier this week and highly recommend it for the great value...about $50 for a king bed room, no smoking. Very quiet, room was comfortable, and morning breakfast buffet was fine. The motel is clean and looks recently upgraded and is a great value if you don't need all the bells and whistles.

I had to pass through town on business and found this place listed for only $50 through Expedia, so I booked it. It was a fantastic value. The location was very convenient, only minutes away from the historic Marysville downtown area which is quite scenic and charming. The room was very clean, comfortably furnished w/ updated decor and had good amenities. It also included a very nice complimentary full breakfast buffet at its adjacent diner, which truly made the stay a bargain. However, like other reviewers pointed out, the room, although nonsmoking, definitely smelled like smoke. And the front desk personnel was rather cold and not very friendly upon check-in. We requested a couple of wine and drinking glasses for our room but none were to be had, and the cafe refused to lend us any. So we ended up having to use the plastic cups in the bathroom for our wine and water. Yuk! But a very minor inconvenience so really a nonissue. Oh, and the toilet had an awkward, ill-fitted toilet seat that made it a bit hard to use. Very strange. But overall a great find and bang for the buck.
