Its a great stay, nice and clean rooms and comfortable beds , friendly and helpful staff and safe place, convinient location, affordable price.

Overall this was a clean hotel...however 24 hours after checking out of the hotel I woke up to my body covered in bite marks, as well as my guest. After going to the doctor he confirmed I was bitten up from bed bugs. GROSS! I have now had to disinfect, dry clean, and fog my bedroom to ensure they are not in my room. Not to mention I have to wear long sleeves everywhere I go in the middle of summer since I have so many marks on my face, arms, legs, and stomach. This has been nothing but an inconvenience since I left. I have already reported them and would advised not to stay here until they have cleared up this problem.

the office staff is very unfit and unprofessional when dealing with the customers. They are not eager to listen to any of the customer grievances. If you have booked your room from any third party website then be in for a rude shock where you can get unkempt rooms which are not serviced unless you scoff at the front desk. We have had a horrible experience with the stay and advise others to select other motels around the place, so that you have a wonderful holiday / business trip.

All I will say that this "hotel" was ok. It was just my friend and I staying a couple nights, so for the price, anything would have been good. The room was pretty neat, but a little beaten up with stains on the sheets, and holes in some towels, and the room in entirety looking a little worn. The internet didn't work, the coffee maker in the room didn't work, the phone didn't work, the hair dryer didn't work, the dead bolt lock didn't work. The walls are very thin, I could hear different conversations from different rooms. A plus was though, the room was very spacious with a microwave and mini fidge. If you go there, make sure you have your own car. Any sort of transporation to at least get you picked up from there is impossible, or overly expensive. It says LA, but you are probably an hour from LA. But, the people that worked there didn't bother me, and I would go back if i had any reason to return to Whittier, but If I am going to LA, there is no way I would stay that far away again with out a car!
