We decided to stay here last minute. Check inwas easy although the owner seemed like he was mad at something. We went to the room which looked clean but upon inspectionof the mattress we noticed lots of little blood spots and black dots in the seam of the mattress. It was probably signs of bed bugs. Since that isn't something i to want bring home, we decided to leave. Is infuriated the owner. I said we need to leave and to not be charged. He said he hasn't charged us yet. So I asked for proof. He started screaming and cussing. So I said that is not how you treat customers. I apologized to him to try calm him downand he did. Apparently he likes to be the who is right even though he wasn't. Well he eventually voided the charge but cancellation code was given. So hopefully we aren't charged. We will see. But I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you do stay, do a bed bug checkjust in case what I saw is actually that.

As we were checking out after our one-night stopover on the drive between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Sunil, co-GM with wife Smita, had pulled his pickup around and was helping some ladies who were guests jump start their vehicle. That's good service., The whole place is very clean and our room was spotless and considerably larger that we expected for the price. It was comfortable and we had a good sleep.
The rate was the best in the small cluster of accommodations just off Interstate 5, and we were given a seniors discount and they also have AAA discounts. Sunil and Smita were both very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is very basic, but the coffee was good.
Free, fast internet. Pets OK with an additional fee.
Not a fancy place, of course, but in its class, it deserves the excellent overall rating I've given it.

My family and I were going to Los Angeles and we were exhausted, luckily our gps recognized this motel. It was late night but someone was available in the office helping us out the people and price were both really friendly. The next day we asked for a late check out and we were given it the next day.

We stayed in Choice Hotels during our move from the San Francisco Bay area to Cape Coral, FL because of their summer promotion and (mostly) pet friendly policy. Our second night was out on I-5 beginning the first leg of our trip. The couple running this hotel were very friendly and made use feel welcome. Fridge, microwave and toiletries provided. Pool and spa were dirty and the spa was not hot. Clean, comfy and restful.
