You get a choice of soft or firm pillows. Clean room and comfortable bed. I did find some stains they forgot to wipe down under the toilet seat. It looked like the cleaning person just forgot about it. I don't think it really happens a lot at this hotel. The room appeared recently renovated with a more updated design and a flat screen tv. They were pet friendly with a $20 fee. We had a 75lb black Labrador.

We got there late at night with no reservations and the manager was very accommodating and super friendly. Parking was not a problem and safe. They had a fenced off pet area in the back but it was way too small for our dog. We just used the open field to walk the dog instead. They did have a small gym, free wifi and a single desktop computer in the lobby we made use of without additional fees. The breakfast was worth it. Eggs, self-serve pancakes and delicious biscuits with gravy, etc.

We were doing a road trip from LA to the Oregon coast. I would stay here again if I was passing by the area.

We were traveling from Washington state to Anaheim and this was our stopping point for the day. The rooms were clean and quiet, the staff seemed friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was sufficient for our needs.

There is not much in the area; it's mostly a truck and traveler stop so don't expect grocery stores and such. There were a couple of fast food places and gas station mini marts. That's about it.

Over all, it met our needs and gave us the night of rest we were looking for.

Stopped here en route San Francisco (from the south, up I-5). Was the perfect way to rest and not fight the SFO traffic, but close enough to get where I needed to go the next morning.

Pros - Right next to the freeway. Great service and courteous professionals, from front desk to hospitality. Standard breakfast items from a Holiday Inn Express, including to-go bag for munchies (and a bottle of water) on the road. Clean room, but recommend 2nd floor due to noise from upstairs neighbors walking (loudly). Free internet and free parking are bonuses, and they do accept pets.

Cons - Truck stop next door burned down, so no Quiznos. Very few meal locations, but there is a Carl's Junior, McDonalds, Subway, and a little Mexican joint. Standard road-trip fast-food fare.

This is certainly not a destination, but it's a comfortable and clean stopping place for less than you'd pay when moving northbound toward SFO.

I recommend the Holiday Inn as a good overnight along I-5. The little crossroads of Westley sure feels a lot safer than the towns along 99 (Modesto, Fresno, etc.). I called when we were about 90 minutes south of the hotel and, yes, they held a room for us without going through a distant reservations office or getting a credit card number from us. Very nice.
The breakfast the next morning was available even before the stated opening time, a very nice feature for us and many others there trying to get on the road to beat the terrible weather.
So, even though we were there barely 10 hours, yes, I'd recommend the Holiday Inn as a good value.
