We stayed at the Andaz for 3 nights… 3 nights too short!
Andaz was by far my favourite hotel of our 3 week holiday in America.
Colin, our host that checked us in with an iPad was fantastic, his customer service was exceptional!
He had a great sense of humour and remembered us the next day when walking through the funky lobby.
We shot many questions at Colin about shopping and places to eat. His knowledge of the area is brilliant.

We loved the Andaz West Hollywood and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
We stayed in an Andaz View King room. Wow… just wow!!

Stayed 10 nights in 2010 and dont even know where to start. From the great informal checkin (no desks) to the complimentary chocolate croissant and mini bar items there was nothing we didnt love about this hotel. Drew barrymore was doing press in the function room next to the pool for a movie when we stayed there so it definately has some wow factor. We had a double room overlooking the strip and the house of blues and the vista of la was breathtaking. If you want to hit the historic clubs of the strip this is the hotel for you. Walking distance to the viper room, whisky gogo, house of blues and skybar not to mention the boutique shopping of west hollywood. Its also only a short drive to the grove. We didnt eat at the restaurant as there was so many great diding options close to the hotel. Theres also a crazy wild west bar next door which we also really liked. Last but not least .. the rooftop pool. I cant tell you how great it was to come back to the hotel in the afternoon and have cocktails on the day beds overlooking the city. This isnt a cheap hotel but if your looking for an authentic LA experience this is the hotel for you.

Absolutely loved this hotel. They pay great attention to making every detail of the experience pleasant. At check-in, there is no check-in desk...you simply sit somewhere in the lobby and a staff person brings an iPad to you to check you into the hotel...and a complimentary glass of wine.

The rooms are well-appointed, the beds are super comfy, and the complimentary drinks and snacks in the room are an added bonus.

We were in West Hollywood to see a show at the House of Blues. It was located directly across the street, couldn't have been more convenient.

Loved the roof top deck and pool. Wish we had the time to really enjoy it. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

It's modern, swanky and would be a great place to stay if on leisure. For business travelers, however, it's not the best place to get a good night's sleep. It's right on Sunset Bvld. At about 2am, a motorcycle or vehicle with a loud engine must have pulled up the front entrance, and decided to rev up loudly multiple times. Also, I was on the PH floor, but still heard quite a bit of street noise. It might have been better if I had a room facing the hills, versus Sunset.

That said, the bar was nice, the service from the time you walk in was exceptional. Instead of the traditional waiting at hotel check-in, the employees use iPads and come to you in order to get checked in. It's a great statement to make you feel important from the moment you get there. If I were on holiday, I'd gladly stay again. But probably not for business.
