“Decent location and accomodation”

Hotel is pink in color and not pretty to the eyes. We booked a golf course view room and was given a room on the first floor that faced the parking lot. The golf course was across the street. Next time, we will try pool view room. There were many different room selection and we couldn't figure out what the difference was between a 1 room suite, 1 bedroom suite, room with sitting area, and an Executive room. I learned that the 1 room suite has a partial divider in the middle of the room. Quality Executive Rooms has a desk/work area with data port and speaker phone with a sitting area with either a sofa, recliner or a chair and ottoman. We had a chair and ottoman in our room. The room was dark with older bedding and furnishings but it was clean. There were nice touches for a Quality Inn, such as a mint on the dresser, and the tissue/toilet paper/towels were folded into the shapes of fans.

The ice machine is outside next to the pool. The breakfast had fresh fruit of bananas/apples, yogurt, dry cereal, packaged oatmeal, coffee, orange and apple juice, milk, mini muffins, croissants, sliced bread for toast, and do it yourself wafflemaker.
Free Parking was not a problem but we arrived on a weekday.

We were not able to connect to the free high speed internet around 6am in the morning but were in a hurry so we didn't have time to check with front desk to see what the problem was. Upon checkout, we saw another guest using a computer located at front desk. Not sure if it's free for guest use.

When asked about their monthly rate, I was told that the rate was $69/night with a 20 day minimum stay with transient occupancy tax (TOT of 12%) waived for stays that are prepaid.

We are glad you had a great time with us during your stay. I encourage you to book up One King room with the golf course view since it is most of our guests' favorites. There is a computer in the lobby for guests use and printing if needed. Please come back to stay with us soon!

“Perfect For Rowland Heights”

We only stayed in this motel one night. The hotel caters to a very cosmopolitan group. The cable TV includes a couple of Chinese language channels and when I went to check out there was Russian gentleman trying to convince the counter clerk to waive the room tax for his 45-day stay. I felt the motel was very busy as parking was scarce. The rooms were reasonably well kept. The only disappointment I had was that we had booked a two bedroom two bath suite and when we went to check in we were told the suite was not available. We were eventually given two rooms but I still wonder what happened to the room we booked. No explanation, apology or discounts were offered and the front desk acted as if this was business as usual.

I apologize that no explanation was given during your time of stay. We only have one Two bed room suite available in our hotel and they usually get overbooked. Please come back to stay in our two bedroom suite when you get a chance and thank you for your understanding.

this hotel was impressive for both value and service. also the decor was nice, and the room was very clean. we felt very safe there, and it was convenient because of being close to the freeway (but far enough away that there was no noise). it was a great option for our budget!!

“Good, Clean Lodging”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2005

Stayed for 7 nights with a conference group of 24 persons. Good clean lodgings, felt safe there. Only a few unfortunate things: the phone in our room did not work (wheras others in our conference group did not have any problems with their phones); our door keys did not stay programmed until they were eventually replaced; only one washer and one dryer (that took a while to dry things); handwashed items hung in the bathroom tood 2 DAYS to dry! But the free continental breakfasts (including eggs!) was a great start to a long conference day, and the shuttle service seemed good; the parking lot was in excellent shape and convenient. However, our 2 month advance (and confirmed several times) booking was 'lost' and 3 of our rooms given away, so we wound up in other rooms than we had booked. But despite the minor problems, it was over all a good stay.

Stayed there for a night. Conveniently located off the Fairway Drive exit off the 60 FWY. Nothing luxury but room was roomy and clean. Mostly residential area to the North of the hotel. Convenient shops and eateries on Colima Road. Only a few miles East of Rowland Heights which is now one of the hottest Chinese & Korean neighborhood if you want to experience local culture.
