“Clean, nice bed as good as it gets in Victorville for cheap”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

Okay it reminds me of a 5 star Tijuana Mexico hotel . It's all there basically, pool, work out area, hot breakfast, clean place good bed ------ but it's sorta worn down looking. Very large rooms.
I will say this , the best massaging water head in a hotel that I have ever experienced . I've been to masseuses that didn't massage me that well. I was super impressed with that.

Room Tip: The 6 th floor has nice views .

“Very, Very Tired”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

We only stayed here because we were very tired after a drive from Albuquerque and were looking for an alternative to Barstow. The Ambassador was not the best choice. A very dated hotel with lobby furniture and feeling of a 50s estabishment. The windows were dirty, paint was peeling off the exterior of the building, and our room was in similar condition. I will be surprised if this hotel is in business next year. It just has the feel of a hotel looking for an excuse to close. Our car was one of only four or five in the parking lot. The breakfast buffet was dull and the coffee shop only appeared to be open for this service. If you have a choice, look elsewhere.

“Horrible Place, Do not stay here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2011

Do not stay here. We had online reservations, but our room was not clean at 6:00pm the night of check in. We were given another room for a huge discount of $6.00. The non-smoking room we were given had cigarette butts in the toilet. We were transfered to another room. The next room had no working cable and the connecting door lock to the next room was broken. I ask for maintenance and was informed that the desk clerk was the only employee working. This was a Saturday night in June. No manager on duty. I felt sorry for the desk clerk. He was nice and tried to apologize, not his fault.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else!

“Marginal Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2011

Beds very comfortable! Pleasantly surprised!

The hotel claimed the rooms had been renovated and they did have new furniture, mattresses and head boards however the bathrooms were old and the wall paper was falling off the wall.

The service was less than stellar with the acception of the front Desk guy, John, who booked our stay-

In the morning after our over night stay I tried to get a cup of coffee at 6:55 and was told the breakfast area didn't open until 7am. Even though the area was set up and coffee was made the front desk guy would not budge.....obviously NOT a coffee drinker-

$10 extra a night for a roll away bed.

We called down for more towels and they said sure- come down and get them.

I guess you get what you pay for..... :) So for an inexpensive nights stay....the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and shower was hot.
