We stayed here for one night in summer 2010 on our way from Napa Valley to Las Vegas.
Based on good feedbacks we had a look at this place.
The front staff was really really friendly and helpful, one of the nicest we met on our many vacations.
We got one room for 85$ (incl. tax). Unluckily there were only smoking rooms left that day. And we are convinced non-smokers. But this place still seemed like the best option around. And the smoke smell was very light (only in the living room), so we took the room anyway.

The rooms here actually are all suites. Because they have many workers staying here for longer periods, the rooms are equipped with a fully functional kitchen incl. kitchenware.
Of course there was also a microwave and fridge and even a toaster. The living area is nicely equipped with a comfy couch and flatscreen. The bed was basic, but more than good enough for some good sleep.
There's a also business Center, a nice pool and a big laundry downstairs.

All in all you really getting a good value here. I would rate it FIVE stars, if we would have gotten a non-smoking room. But that wasn't the Hotel's fault.

We sure would stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights as part of a 19 day fly/drive vacation form the UK. We used it as a rest stop after visiting various national parks and before departing east. This is a high quality hotel, with all the suites having excellent fittings and facilities, plus some nice decorative touches. It was very comfortable and the hotel in general was finished to a very elegant standard. We had a non-smoking room, but not all the rooms on our floor were non-smoking, so whilst entering/existing the elevator you often could small smoke. Also, the elevator has an incredibly loud chime which could be annoying if you had a room close by (we did not). Staff were ok, but we did not find them that attentive at times (example - checking-in staff finishing off text message on personal phone before finishing check-in, plus staff sometime not on desk but chatting in back room). However, this is an excellent hotel, ideally located close to the freeway and with a large mall close by and numerous restaurants and a bowling within walking distance.

Traveling with a group for a girl's soccer tournament, the tournament was moved at the last moment because of weather conditions, the hotel manager, Laura Adkins, was extremely understanding and accommodating and released our cancellation fee without hesitation. Both our group and myself personally, will always stay at this hotel and Laura's Comfort Inn, when staying in Victorville. This is the service that brings people back over and over again.

Our kids' soccer team plays in a state-wide tournament each year. Last year, we played in Apple Valley, and stayed at Hotel Extended Studio as a team. We had an excellent experience, so we booked there again this year. As team manager, I spoke with Laura Adkins, Sales Manager of Hotel Extended Studio and Comfort Suites, Victorville, and reserved a large block of rooms for the team at both hotels for an excellent rate. I signed a contract with a 7-day cancellation statement due to the number of rooms I reserved. Due to the recent rain, the soccer fields are under water, and all the games are moved out of Apple Valley, with only 3 days left until play. Before I had even spoken to Laura Adkins in person about the situation, she had already cancelled all our rooms and waived the cancellation fee! She, and the rest of the staff, have been excellent to work with and very accomodating! I highly recommend booking at either of these hotels.
