We arrived early in the day we were going to 6 flags discovery kingdom taking some family with us this time for a birthday suprise. The front desk clerk was plesent at 1030am when i showed up to pre register for the rooms. We had left the hotel and made our way to 6flags. enjoyed our time there. upon arriving back at the hotel i think it was the general manager who had given me the keys to the 2 rooms. he was very plesent. we had some neighbors down the hall who were kind of loud but upon talking to the night auditor i found out they were army reserve. so it didnt bother me to much. breakfast the next morning was good but i had had a better breakfast the morning befre in stockton. I perfer the hard boiled eggs vs cheese cubes. but that is a personal preference. for the most part everything was great. we didnt use the pool because it was storming while we were there but it looked very nice.

“three days of relaxation, shopping and sun”

Stayed at this lovely little comfort inn for 3 nights/4 days after a 3 week road trip and before our long 2 flights back to the UK.

Its spotless, room lovely and big, had microwave and fridge, great TV channels, 3 doors away from laundry. Hotel had a great warm pool and hot tub, sunbeds and terrace.

Breakfast was great, all usual stuff, waffles, cereals, toast, orange juice, fresh fruit salad etc and thr breakfast room was never busy.

Front desk gentleman was lovely, gracious and very helpful. Our children enjoyed keeping in touch with their friends on the complimentary computer in lobby.

Loads shops and restaurants 5 minutes walk and 5 mins drive to six flags discovery kingdom, which was great.

Would 100% stay again.

“Affordable luxury”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 March 2010

Stayed here one night with my teenage sister. We had to change the length of our stay and they were very accommodating about it. The room was great, especially for under $100 - very spacious with a couch, a fridge and a TV (though the TV reception wasn't the best). Nice bathroom, decent breakfast selection, friendly staff. The location was also quite convenient with almost every type of store imagineable located within a couple miles.

“Very nice stay - would be hard to find better in this area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2009

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for two nights whilst visitng Six Flags. Seeing as this appears to be all there really is in the area, don't expect a bounty of quality restaurants nearby though! The hotel is very clean, very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. They really did everything they could to ensure we had a good stay. They even upgraded our room for us (ask for 244 if you can - practically an apartment!!)

There are restaurants nearby, as it is near a big commercial estate ... though Red Lobster is as good as they get. However, I suspect it is fairly well situated given the apparent lack of restaurants in the area. It is also just a 5 minute drive from the theme park or golf courses, the two things you are likely to be here for!!

“The rate is OK....But please read this review!”

Ok...plenty of food options in the area and it is close to the Interstate, but that is about as good as it gets. The service is horrible! If you are the owner of this hotel...I would fire your manager and housekeeper. Carpets are poorly maintaned, it the 2 rooms I had you could smell mold in the bathrooms. When I looked for the source, the tub area looked clean, but if you looked under the edge's it was real thick dirt and mold. The manager is always in the back...and 3 times I had to call out "Hello...is anyone there?" he was watching TV ....

The pool area was nice...the jacquzzi broken and a lame excuse given. No plans to fix it either. The breakfast had the typical waffle maker...so a plus there...not much of anything else...no one monitoring the area...I had to ask the manager to refill the OJ...he said they ran out....ran out??? it was 7am in the morning....

Their air conditioning system in the rooms are on a motion detector...so when you sleep it goes off...both rooms I was in...were hot and never cooled.....When you come back from your daily activites...the room is hot...not cooled. These people are cheap...

Anyway...enough said...find another hotel. By the way..I travel every week and stay in hotels. I know a good one from a bad one.....This one is BAD!
