We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in October for the purpose of visiting 6 flags. The overall experience was great. The staff were all cheerful and helpful. They provided us with information about the area, places to eat, and nearby shops. The lobby had free coffee/tea and flavoured creams. There is also a computer to use and free Wifi. The hotel consists of three buildings and each has vending machines and ice machines. Pets are allowed for a small charge of $10 a night. The rooms have air conditioning and are decorated nicely. The beds were very comfortable, with lots of pillows and blankets. I really liked that there were no bedspreads, just a variety of blankets. We found the rooms to be very quiet. We even slept with the window open. A large pool and hot tub were available to use and were never overcrowded. Denny's is right next door, and across the street at Tourney Centre is a Starbucks, fast food Grill, and a Japanese restaurant.
We wanted a place close to 6 Flags. The walk took about 20 minutes, depending on how tired we were following a day of running around the park. Parking at 6 Flags is $15 and the parking lot is huge. I am sure we would have walked 20 minutes to the entrance from the parking lot. When shopping at 6 Flags, you can use Discovery card, BCAA card, and seasons pass for discounts. If you plan to spend more than one day at the park, then buy a seasons pass; it is the best deal at about $62 which is good till end of 2012.
Room Tip: Rooms in the back of the complex are further away from the I-5 and probably quieter
