“Not for business”

I spent 4 nights here in December 2011. I was on a business trip. The room was big and clean, however there where some drawbacks:

The room was very cold and I could not find a control unit for the heater.
The doors were not isolated so I could hear noises from the hallway quite easily.
The internet speed was very slow. I could barely check mail.
The complementary breakfast nothing to write home about.

Some pros:
Affordable
Going to Six Flags? Then this is top notch location!

Thank you for staying with us during your business travels. It is because of our corporate amenities that we typically attract a large number of corporate travelers, but on rare occasions internet servers can act up. I apologize that our light-speed internet service slowed to rocket speed during your stay. Also, our room temperatures can be a little chilly at times, but our front desk is always a phone call away and happy to help with thermostats and noise levels. Hope to see you soon.

“Best Hotel If You're Planning a Trip to Magic Mountain”

I stay here every time I visit Six Flags Magic Mountain and recommend it to anyone else doing the same. Great staff, clean and well maintained rooms, a great fitness center and place to check e-mail in the business center, and a fantastic breakfast buffet. Highly recommended!

Our heartfelt thanks for making us your hotel of choice when visiting Six Flags and also for giving us such a glowing review. Your repeat visits are appreciated more than you can possibly imagine. We would also like to thank you for pointing out our stringent smoking policy. Hopefully, that doesn't mean you were slapped with the hefty fee for smoking in a non-smoking room! We don't mean to be killjoys, we are simply trying to ensure the comfort of all of our guests -- doing the greatest good for greatest number of people! “Great for visiting Six Flags”

Helpful, friendly staff. Great location for Six Flags - an easy walk. Breakfast is included, eggs are made to order and there are lots of other choices as well. Washing machines and dryers are available on each floor for a small fee.

Wow, we thank you for a five-out-of-five rating. This coming from another savvy international traveler with a vast travel portfolio and a very interesting profile -- yes, I read profiles of contributors, especially senior ones. Aside from visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain, and bypassing a cab in favor of the hike, I hope you were able to visit the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena. Your profile mentioned that you like museums and this one is a hidden gem with well-known works by Van Gogh, Degas, Picasso, Monet, Rembrandt, Renoir and some guy named Raphael. If you missed it, ask me about it when you come back and I will be happy to point you in the right direction. See you soon!

“Nice place”

Came here on a business trip. The hotel is located right off the 5 Fwy and Magic Mountain Pkwy. You can't miss it. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean spacy. The breakfast is ok given the fact it's free. If you want something better go next door to Denny's. Overall nice Hotel.

What you expect from a Holiday Inn
Pretty good overall, standard breakfast with yogurts, omelettes etc…

The Magic Mountain is not too far but I was on my way to San Jose so no time to play

A few gas stations and fastfoods around

Not much to say, its a highway hotel, pricier than others chains but its a H-Inn not a cheap Kinght Inn.
