“Vishy Springs is Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

Vishy Springs was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Rooms are quaint, clean and cozy. The naturally carbonated springs are amazing. Bathing increases circulation, heals sore muscles and creates a natural warming sensation. There's also a very nice pool and hot tub. It's set back in the hills above Ukiah and there are many hiking trails of varying difficulty nearby. We hiked to a beautiful waterfall and then up to an old mine. The breakfast spread was amazingly diverse and delicious. I recommend vichy springs to all couples, families, and solo travelers. It's the perfect place to relax !

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the cabins. It had a nice kitchen, living room and bedroom. Bed are very comfort...

Vichy Springs is top rate and an incredibly comfortable, relaxing experience. The waters themselves, accessible at all hours are healing and relaxing at any time of the year. Vichy's massage staff also provide the best massages I have ever had. It is the perfect getaway from our busy, crowded lives. They have very comfortable lodging and great breakfast. I love to hike or sometimes just walk the grounds. It is very quiet and private, it is my favorite place to unwind. I like to bring my mom for "quality time," we always enjoy our stays.

“Wow!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

My daughter and I had a wonderful, relaxing 2 days at Vichy last month. There's nothing like a soak under the stars in the mineral water tubs and a massage to rest the weary body after a busy few months. The rooms are sweet, spacious, and oh so quiet. If your idea of a getaway is to relax and leave it all behind...then Vichy is the place for you.....enjoy!!!! You won't regret it!

What a magical place! 3 hours from my home and it seems like a world away!
I can tell you that I have never slept so well in my life! We stayed 2 nights and that was perfect! We were met by 2 friendly and informative staff giving us a quick run-down of the property. Our room was basic and exactly how I pictured except for the fact that their free bath products were really nice. Good to know for next time that I literally do not need to bring any with me next time I visit! The room was very clean and very comfortable, small but with really high ceilings making it seem bigger than it was. We could hear the sound of frogs and light rain outside our door and that was it. This place is QUIET! The springs were fun and different. The hot tub perfectly hot. What you see is what you get. Their web site was so imformative( and a call ahead of time ) that we were very prepared. This is not for those that want all the bells and whistles. Bring big towels and a warm robe just like Vichey Springs Resort tells you to do.Bring a cooler with wine and snacks or whatever you like. Their breakfast service was great! Plenty of food and coffee. There is no question this is a rustic place. This is not a 5 star resort nor does it need to be. Would I have liked to have a big comfy robe in my room? Sure. Would I have liked to have a dry place to hang my towels while I use the springs and the hot tub? Sure.Would I liked to have a bigger bathroom? Ofcourse but in reality I didn't need them to enjoy this place to its fullest. Plus those things raise prices. This may not be the place for you if you want room service, mall shopping and cable tv-but if you need some rest, relaxation and tranquility stay here you will love it just like I did.

“Paradise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2011

We have been coming to Vichy Springs for many years and it continues to be one of the most excellent bed and breakfast establishments. If you are looking for rest, relaxation and the best champagne baths in the world, look no more. The springs are like sitting in a bottle of carbonated water. They are called the "radio baths." After the bath your skin will feel as soft as a baby's bottom. That's not all, the waters take your aches and pains away too. We love watching the wild turkeys, quail, and deer roam through the property. At night you can see more stars than you can believe. Mendocino county is beautiful, and this property is some of the finest in the area. See why Mark Twain and Jack London traveled here. You will love it. Lynn and Hunter Jamison

Room Tip: The cottages are our favorite, but we like the river rooms too.
