We were traveling to Disneyland and randomly picked Turlock to stay at as our half way point to stop at for the night. The price was decent here but what a dump.

My wife had to go to the store and buy her own cleaners to clean the bathtub so we could bath our children before bed. There was a huge ring of dust that jutted out an inch from the wall on the carpet all the way around the room. It appeared no one had vacuumed the edges of the carpet in months. We were afraid to let our 14 month old down on to the carpet. Traffic noise was loud making it hard to sleep. Wierd people randomly walking around the parking lot. We were worried that someone would break into our vehicle and steal our stuff. The hotel just didnt give you that safe feeling. The people next to us were playing their Bongo Drums late into the night. Was a VERY dissapointing experience but I think it falls under the "You get what you pay for" theme. Next time I would rather spend an extra $20-30 and get a place that is better. I cant recommend anything about this hotel.

“Right on Highway 99 with Restaurant next door.”

I have stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times in the past few years. It was formally the Budget Motel and was extensively remodeled two years ago. It is located right off of highway 99 and does have quite a bit of highway noise. The new rendition of this motel is average to slightly above average simply because it is freshly remodeled. There is a descent restaurant right next door for those not wanted to drive to find good eats. There are other lower priced options in town but for those seeking proximity to the freeway, this choice is probably OK.
