There were too many trespassers using the jacuzzi late at night. Trespassers being those that just walk in off the street not paying for a room. I think it creates a lack of security that is very uncomfortable. The secondary door to the hotel was left unlocked every night I stayed (6) that would allow unathorized entrance to the building.
On the second night of my stay I went to the front desk to inquire about getting some change for the vending machines. I had to wait for the desk attendent to untangle herself from her boyfriend on the couch in the foyer. When I came back to ask for coin change I again had to wait for the attendent to break away from her embrace with her male friend. Not that it mattered, there was no coin change available.
On the last day of my stay the internet access disappeared. When I asked when it might be usable I was informed that the hotel was changing from Holiday Inn to Best Western and it was unknown when the internet service would be available.
When I checked out I was told that because the internet service was still down that I could not get a receipt at that time. I had to make another call after I returned to my residence to have a receipt faxed to me.
I can understand why Holiday Inn was not interested in this property to bear that trademark. I have stayed almost exclusively at Holiday Inn for the last 5 years and this was the worst hotel experience I have had in a long time.
For the price, look for lodging at another hotel.
