This little hotel has a hidden gem...an indoor hot tub room and dry sauna. I've been to this hotel twice with my two kids (now ages 10 and 12), and the hot tub is wonderful after a day of skiing. The free continental breakfast is sufficent (Bagels, oatmeal, danishes) and the rooms are clean and simple. We paid less than $100 a night (for only one queen), and we had a great time. The hotel is 15 mins from Boreal, 10 mins from Sqwaw and about 20 mins from Northstar. Across the street is an excellent pizza/italian restaurant with reasonably priced food (and great pizzas) and close by is a CVS, Safeway and other restaurants. This place is fairly plain and has a 70s feel...and the only knock on it is that the walls are a little thin, and you can hear noises throughout the place, but it's a minor inconvenience. When I told my kids we were going back to this place this year, they were excited...they love it.
