Good location, near a shopping, stores, and supermarket. The room is big, clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom was ok too. The reception staff gave us full attention with some problems we had with the locker and internet access. It was very easy to get the 405 from the hotel, and our room was not noisy. And it's not far from Redondo Pier. The breakfast was ok, with some apples (sometimes bananas), cookies, cornflakes, muffins, waffles... An american typical. A good and safe place to sleep and recover the energies of busy vacation days in LA!

Stayed in room 310 July 2011 for 10 days. At first we thought they were mozquito bites but the welts continued to appear everyday. Entire family was bitten on exposed areas. Both adjacent rooms were empty and kept open during our stay. I snow suspect they had been fumigated and were being ventilated. They still gave us the room between these empty rooms. We had a terrible experience. I finally found a bug crawling up the mattress and trapped it and brought it to the front desk. Later that day we were given a new room after we stayed in our car all day and spent part of it at a laudramat. not a good way to spend a precious vacation day. Welts and marks are still all over us even after 2 weeks. I am embarrased to wear short sleaves and it has been up to 104 F back in home. It will take a while to get over this experience.

This place is setup like a motel. It's very run down.

Although they are supposed to have free wi-fi, it doesn't work in most rooms. They say you can use it in the lobby, which is TINY and has one loveseat. This is a huge problem if you're travelling on business or need to do any trip planning online.

The staff is unfriendly, unhelpful, and uninterested in customer service. They have a lot of excuses and very few solutions.

The breakfast is in a small room with a limited selection. The belgian waffle maker is good, everything else is a store bought pastry and kinda gross. Also, the coffee was completely cold one day.

I chose this hotel because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor and to take advantage of the advanced purchase rate at $62 per night but regret that I did it.

The room looked like it had not been renovated for 50 years. Especially the carpet looked disgusting. I know the cleaning lady cleans it everyday, but only a deep, thorough and professional steam cleaning will remove all the dirt and grime that have been accumulating since god knows when. The room was very dark so I needed to use all the lamps in the room even during the day.

I did not want to sit on the armchair as it looked dirty. the front parts of the armrests were torn and the inside materials were visible, which were surrounded by dirt marks. Part of the A/C unit was covered in dust and I was scared of using it as it looked like all the dust would come out and pollute the air once switched on. The window can be opened partially but again I did not want to touch it as it looked dirty.

The room did not feel hygienic. There was a refrigerator but I did not feel like eating in there. The bed was comfy.

The front desk staff were professional and courteous. The free breakfast was good and the canteen looked very clean. The free wi fi connection was not bad either. But still, I did not think I had a bargain - this was no two star hotel, it was like slum lodging, a prison, and it was not worth it.
