I booked this hotel on Super8.com when they had their $8.88 per night promotion and got this hotel. You can't go wrong there:

Check in was quick. My room of 2 double beds was very clean, as was the bathroom. Cable TV consists of many channels. There are bathroom amenities such as shampoo, hair dryer and iron.

There is a free breakfast in the morning, but I did not sample it.

The location is about 2 miles from the 110 with many restaurants of all tastes in the area.

I would recommend this Super 8.

This motel is very cheaply built. You could hear everything in each adjoining room. The room was small and crammed with furniture. You could not even walk around the bed completely. The toilet didn't flush right, unless you held down the handle the whole time. The faucets were flimsy. The walls needed painting and one table fell apart when I moved it. The coffee pot was located in the bathroom.
In the morning, there were only doughnuts for breakfast. The ice and soda machines were located in the parking garage.
Safety was a concern, as the elevator was near the street and accessible to anyone walking by.

Stayed 2 nites here while visiting our daughter in Redondo Beach. About a 10 minute drive from Redondo Beach, this Super 8 is listed as "Pride of Super 8." It's fairly new, located in a decent area, although we weren't out walking around the area at nite. Parking is plentiful and secure. About 2/3 of it is under the entire motel, and you can access the lobby from it. I believe it is 3 stories, we stayed on the 2nd. There's an elevator, to inner hallways, although you must enter it from outside on the ground floor. Our room was very clean, although somewhat small. I noticed the rooms on the other side of the hallway were quite a bit larger than ours; I got mine at a AAA discount, maybe that's why ours was smaller! The only complaints were the room coffee maker only brewed 1 cup of coffee, and there were 2 of us (only 1 coffee packet came with the room). The coffee provided in the lobby was tasteless, and the buffett breakfast was almost non existant, but I never count on them anyway. It's a good deal for the money, and I would definitley stay there again.

My son and I stayed at the Super 8 while in town for my sister's bridal shower and we were pleasantly surprised!

The room was very nice and clean as well as nicely decorated. The staff was very nice, helpful and courteous. We felt very safe and secure during our stay and everything was in great condition and good working order.

If you're traveling on a budget and want a nice, secure and clean place to stay...you can't beat the Torrance Super 8!
