My boyfriend and I spent a few days at the shore house in December, and we had a great time. We came up to Tahoe for a quick get away from our hectic lives in the bay area and were delightfully surprised to experience a relaxing retreat at the shore house. It was a great way to relax and recharge. The hospitality was beyond words, you cannot pay enough money for the genuine kindness Marty had. Breakfast in the morning was amazing; it was something we always looked forward to at the end of our day," I wonder what tomorrows breakfast is going to be." Great things:the beds were soo soft, the starry sky at night, the beautiful view of the lake, they also have a dock above the crystal clear water, and a path towards the beach. At night we would play one of the many board games they had available in the common area. We both had a wonderful time. The shore house was the icing to our cake on this trip, and it brought us closer as a couple. I recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to come back!

We had a wondeful stay. Rooms were clean and uptodate with a rustic feel. Fireplace hot tubs and daily treats left in the room. Delicious breakfasts (best anywhere.) Right on the lake! And don't forget afternoon wine n appetizers!

Me and my husband stayed at the shore house in August and had our wedding there. It was absolutely the best, stress free and fun. We stayed in the honeymoon cottage that was so nice and romantic, the pictures on the web doesn't do it justice. Marty, Barb, Rusty and the other staff are the nicest people that really do take care of everything for you. I planned my whole wedding on the phone with Barb and she did an amazing job. Definitely a great place to have a small intimate wedding that is stress free!!! I will definitely come back for my future anniversaries.

We spent Thanksgiving at the Shore House and had an absolutely wonderful, relaxing time. Marty, Barb and Rusty attended to our every need and more. The Honey moon cottage where we stayed is not just for newlyweds. It has a great view of the lake and we were lulled to sleep with the sound of waves lapping up on the beach. The afternoon baked treats had us lusting for more. Marty is a wiz in the kitchen and treated us to delicious mouth watering breakfasts. The happy hour wine and appetizers did not disappoint and it was nice to visit with other guests. Living in near by Fallon, NV we frequent Lake Tahoe through out the year. The Shore House is a definate winner and will be our Inn of choice from now on.
