This hotel may look fairly ordinary from the outside and being on the wrong side of the street lacks a good view of the lake. However, these would be my only considerations as the hotel is situated in the heart of Tahoe City and the rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious with excellent facilities for the budget concious traveller.
These included: Plenty of storage space, extra pillows, large comfortable beds, good heating, a small communal balcony overlooking the forest and hills (if you take a room at the back) a hair-dryer (surprising how many hotels overlook this) lots of free toiletries and spare towels, a shower large enough for two and a table to sit and work at. The rooms also have Wifi and the hotel has discount deals with many local restaurants and cafe's. It also boasts a hot tub on the top floor overlooking the street and lake (lovely on a moonlit night.)
There is plenty of parking and the rooms at the back are very quiet with thick curtains that shut out the light so you can sleep in until late. I would definitely come back here!

How could I possibly add anything to your comments about our hotel? You named most of the features that set us apart from the pack. By the way, the balcony that overlooks the forest and hills at the back overlooks the Golf Course from Spring through the Fall. Please do come back and visit us again!

“Incredibly nice staff, great location”
I pulled in a couple hours later than I anticipated, and the front desk staff waited up for me and were super nice (even though I deserved a little slapping around). Location's great, and price is too. Good spot!

Our night staff are the only ones in the area that will answer the bell for late arrivals. They recognize that a person can be tired and irritated after driving so long late at night. I am so glad that they treated you "super nice" but this is the way our staff treats all of our guests!!

“Nice people / Great Location”
Splendid, my stay was, thanks, in part, to the convenient location in Tahoe City and a great view of the lake from the Jacuzzi, and, in whole, to the front desk employees who offered insightful local advice along with a 30% discount on our room (the day we stayed Dec. 31, no snow was present and they felt bad for us out-of-towners whom had come ready with our boards).
Room Tip: ask for second floor rooms facing lake for great view

Isn't it great to be able to sit and soak in our Lakeview Hot Tub and look out over "Beautiful Lake Tahoe"? Nothing better to get the kinks out of our bodies at the end of the day. It is such a pleasure to hear such comments as "Nice People" because we consider all of our visitors as "Very Important Guests".
