Stayed a Friday night, on a ski trip. Paid over $160 - and that was the AAA discount rate. It's essentially a pretty old motel. Small room, tiny shower, old fixtures. Breakfast consists of a fruit basket + a few pastries in the office. Service amounts to going down to the office to get an extra towel etc. Do yourself a favor and find something cheaper and nicer on the Nevada side.

Only stayed one night - found it too be over priced for what you get. This is mainly a "Motel" - older, it could use updating. Front staff was very friendly, room was clean, bed was just OK - could hear people at 2 a.m. running and yelling outside our door. Your right in the middle of the town, so location was good. You get a continential breakfast which was awful, better to go down the street for a proper breakfast.

We stayed here as it was the only available accomodation on Sunday of labour day weekend. It was great value in a great location in Tahoe city. It had a niceish balcony with a view over the golf course. Though you wouldn't sit there for long as the view the otherside is much better!

The room was a decent size, clean and fine for one night. The walls were paper thin.

Staff were friendly and informed about the area. They called us to let us know about a concert going on across the road when we checked in.

The only bad thing was the bathroom smelt stale and caused the room to smell stale as there is no ventilation in the bathroom.

The breakfast was ordinary.

Centrally located in Lake Tahoe City, within easy walking distance to several restaurants.
Nice clean rooms - the walls VERY thin though, so sounds from neighbouring rooms comes through loud and clear.
"Breakfast" is below standard, but a VERY good breakfast restaurant is 'just around the corner'
Compared to other alternatives around Lake Tahoe this is really a bargain at 87$ for a double room - VERY GOOD value for your money
