My wife and I went for a one night quick get-away. Our driving time was only about 1 1/2 hours. We were very impressed and pleased with the spotlessness of the Inn. The rooms were meticulous, not to mention the parlor and breakfast area. Both Roger and Sue made you feel like family. The breakfast was a treat and the evening winer and cheese very enjoyable.

We are planning a return in the spring when we can enjoy the grounds. We would recommend the Grey Gables Inn.

The area wine tasting is amazing and the Inn is centrally located so that you can not only visit the in-town tasting rooms, but also the area wineries. Sue even made our dinner reservations for us. Total pampering and relaxing. We had the top floor room with a great King bed.

12-5&6-2001 My wife and I stayed at Grey Gables this week and enjoyed it so much. Roger and Sue the owners have made the Inn look beautiful, clean and the hospitalitiy is 5 Star. Each day you start out with one of Sue's outstanding breakfasts, then afternoon "TEA" topped off with wine tasting before your wonder into town for dinner. Our group of six couples gathered in Sutter Creek for our annual wine tasting trip and were delighted with the accomodations we found a Grey Gables. We were surrounded in the finest English style with beautifully appointed bedrooms and cozy, warm, and inviting social areas. The evening wine and cheese hour was delightful, but the big hit was Sue's elegant and delicious gourmet breakfasts every morning. We know you will enjoy your stay there as much as we did, and we will certainly return.

Incredibly furnished in true Victorian
decorations and furniture with poetry themes in each room. Tea and cake at 4 pm; wine and cheese at 6 pm; delicious breakfast at 9 am.
Lovely evening spent visiting with other guests.
