I stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks while consulticing a big company, and my son joined me (went to a day camp in the area). Overall I was satisfied from the rooms, but given the high prices they charge for the 1-bedrooms and 2-bedrooms, the hotel has too many problems:
- There is a used-car garage in the back of the hotel which is very noisy, they started loading trucks at 6:10 am one day.
- My wife and daughter joined us in the last week of our stay, so we moved to a 2-bedroom apartment. The hotel management refused to give us the extended stay rate for this room, although I spent 21 nights there and reserved the rooms well in adavnce. I don't see why the refused to do that, this is the way to lose satisifed customers. I should have left to another hotel at the same day they refused to give me the lower rate.
- The breakfast served is hectic and unorganized. It is served in the lobby, with 3 tiny tables and it was crowded and messy in most days. Although there is no problem to take food to your room, you still need to stand in line and they are out of essentails (eg, regular milk and coffee) many times.
- The pile of US TODAY was gone everyday at 8am. No newspaper if you wake up later than this.
- One of the reasons I booked this hotel is the option to use an external fitness center (the one they have at the hotel is really poor). But when I came there, they said that they have problem with the contract with the gym so I couldn't use it. Can't they pay for another fitness center in the meanwhile? This shows again how the management do not care too much about their customers. (Towards the end of the stay, after the 5th time I asked, they told me that now I can use the external fitness center - no one thought of course that they should tell the customers - but it was too late for me.)
- The "full equipped kitchen" in the rooms have 3 spoons 3 forks and 3 knives.
Overall, although the rooms are okay, the noise from the garage in the back, the unhelpful management, the messy breakfast and the high prices make me unable to recommend this hotel.
