After reading the reviews about how clean this motel was I decided this would be the best option for us and our budget. We asked for a room away from others since our child is difficult to get to sleep while traveling in an unfamiliar place with strange sounds, etc, but were placed in a room directly next to the pool in a high traffic area. The duration of our stay was 4 nights. Each and every night and even during the day we heard people walking by, yelling, stomping etc. It never stopped. Our first night there our child cried as we were trying to put him to sleep. After 10 minutes had passed one of the motel staff (security?) came knocking on a door and asked if everything was alright. This of course upset him even more. My husband had to work during our stay and I was extremely uncomfortable being alone there without him. Every single day I had male guests approaching me and my son making comments about my appearance. I would drop my husband at work and stay gone until it was time to pick him up again so I did not have to be at this place. I feared our car would get broken into and made sure to park in a well-lit area. There were always sketchy people hanging over the balcony railings watching you as you parked, unpacked, walked by etc. The room we stayed in was absolutely disgusting. My son spilled his water and when I pressed a washcloth on the carpet to absorb the moisture it turned BLACK. No one in our family ever took our shoes off except to shower and sleep. We had absolutely no Verizon cell phone reception in our room and had to walk outside to make calls. There is NOTHING provided except linens. The bed, pillows, sheets, etc were extremely uncomfortable. I have stayed in cheaper places before, but they have all far exceeded this place in accommodations. The only positives I can say are the location in proximity to the freeway, stores, restaurants and the like (though the neighborhood is ghetto) and the little Indian maid that was there every day was super friendly. NEVER EVER AGAIN. It's worth the extra money to stay somewhere else.

An amazing value in the heart of Silicon Valley. I have stayed here many times in the past few years. The rooms and grounds are clean and well maintained (the property is fairly new). You can't beat the location, conveniently situated right off the Bayshore Freeway with ample parking. The desk staff is courteous and accomodating. Being a Motel 6, the rooms are smallish and the decor a bit dowdy, but for the price I'm paying I can overlook that. The downsides are that late sleepers can be aroused by the housekeeping staff (true of many hotels/motels) and the wireless Internet can be a bit flaky. You will also need a cell phone or a credit card to make long-distance phone calls. If it's fancy accomodations you want you'll have to pay more elsewhere.

First of all, great helpful and friendly service from front desk. Clean room, restaurants nearby and a Burger King actually on the property. Had large parking which is a must for me as I drive a truck. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 is the fact that it is a Motel6, and there of course is no refrigerator/micro in rooms. But then again it is a no frills chain, and this one is a good one. Forty bucks for a clean room and friendly service is perfect for me. Thanx
